Boss Suites Hotel Opens in Pattaya

So one of the best budget hotels in Bangkok has opened up in Pattaya. The Boss Suite in Bangkok is one of my top 5 hotels near Nana Plaza. And I've been recommending them since they first opened back in 2000.

This time around when I was doing research on a guest friendly hotels for my Pattaya red eye guide (yes you've all been waiting) I came across Boss Suites Pattaya. I knew since the Boss in Nana allows bar girls to stay the night with guests I knew the one in Pattaya would have the same policy too. But the proof is in the pudding right?

So for your reference here is the email reply form Boss Suites Pattaya:
Dear Mr.jim

Thank you very much for your e-mail,I would like to tell you that
the hotel no charge a joiner,we are glad will have you to stay with us.

Best Regards,
Sujittra

Boss Suites Pattaya opened up late 2013 and so far has been getting a lot of really good reviews. Which is not a surprise at all since the one in Nana is also well managed too. And this particular property is also in a really good part of Pattaya as well because it's right in the center of the city.

This hotel is near my favorite go go bars in Pattaya

This hotel is located right on Second Road, between Soi 11 and Soi 12. Which means if you choose to stay here you'll be near some of my favorite go go bars in the area near Soi LK Metro. Plus I've been visiting Papayago Club to check out their beautiful coyote girls (dancers). Will be doing a review on Papayago soon.

So Boss Suites Pattaya is just around the corner from Soi LK Metro. Beach Road is just a 5 minute walk north and Walking Street is around a 15 minute walk. Though you can easily hop on the baht buses heading to Walking Street from Beach Road and it only costs 10THB.

Standard Room 29.5 square meters

There are a handful of room types at the Boss Pattaya but if you're just looking to take Thai hookers to your room you'll most likely be planning on staying in a Standard or Deluxe room type. And there is free internet Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Standard has a view of Second Road while Deluxe rooms have a view of the swimming pool. Both rooms are about the same size at 30 square meters though the Deluxe are slightly bigger. The hotel's pool is much larger than the one at Nana by the way if it matters.

And the hotel's rates are just about on par with the Boss Suites Nana which is around 1500THB to 1600THB and  typically includes buffet breakfast. Boss Suites Pattaya is quite a nice little budget hotel in central Pattaya in an ideal location and highly recommended.

2014 Nana Plaza Go Go Bar Map Updated

So I haven't been to Nana for awhile and the last I was there was around mid February this year. I knew my Nana Plaza bar map was a out dated.

Luckily I was contacted by someone who owns a bunch of bars inside NEP and supplied me with the necessary corrections.

You can check out the my brand spanking new map here http://www.bangkokredeye.com/nana-red-light-district.html along with descriptions of go go bars.

Bangkok's Tune Hotel Asoke Review

Today plenty of budget hotels are popping up all over the Sukhumvit district. Which is a good thing as it keeps existing hotels from raising their prices.

Tune Hotel Asoke - Address: 7 Sukhumvit Soi 14, Bangkok
Tune Hotel Asoke located right in the heart of Sukhumvit district is a typical example. Tune is a part of the biggest budget airline company Air Asia. And they're trying to do for the hotel industry what they did for the air industry, which is provide cheaper hotel rates but good quality service and hotel rooms.

The hotel is located in the heart of the Sukhumvit district, right on Soi 14. And the location is prime real estate especially when you want to enjoy Bangkok's red light districts.

For starters, Tune Hotel Asoke is located between Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy. Though it's much closer to the Soi Cowboy, about a 5 minute walk by using the BTS's pedestrian overpass. A walk to Nana Plaza from the hotel's entrance would take about 15 minutes.

Tune's 14 square meter rooms. It's small but at least there's free Internet Wi-Fi
And in between along Sukhumvit road you'll find many establishments to pick up freelance hookers. And many after hours clubs are in the are near Tune Hotel Asoke too. Like the Climax Club underneath the Ambassador Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 11. Plus the Thermae Bar and Coffee on Sukhumvit Soi 15 is worth a visit too for finding even more Thai hookers in a laid back atmosphere.

Tune Hotel Asoke was built back in 2012 so it's still quite new and has keeps their shiny appearance. And it is considered one of the better budget hotels in the 1500THB range. But the rooms are on the small side at 14 square meters. To me is okay especially if you're only staying for like a week or so.

There are many more hotels in the 1500THB range that are bigger such as Boss Suites Nana or Heaven@4 near Nana Plaza. That said I know for most people 14 square meters is just right. Depends on your preferences of course.

For your reference here is an email from Tune Hotel Asoke regarding their guest friendly policy:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Warmest greetings from Tune Hotel Thailand!

Thank you very much for your email and for your kind interest to our hotel.
Refer to your query, we do not charge for joiner.

Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We look forward to welcoming you in the near future.

Best Regards,

Hua Hin Nightlife - Yes You Can Get Laid There Too...

Hua Hin does have a red light district. Well sort of. But it's not anything like you'd see in Bangkok or Pattaya. Which means no go go bars, BJ bars and large opulent soapy massage parlors. Because the King's main residence is right in Hua Hin many types of male adult entertainment establishments are banned from the city out of respect. In a way because of the King's residence the city is a bit on the conservative side.

That said, Hua Hin does have a shit load of beer bars where you can go short time a bar girl or pick up Thai freelancers. And there are massage parlors that offer customers happy endings. Though the establishments are not like anything you'd find in Bangkok's Phrom Phong section of town.

Hua Hin's Beer Bars

As I mentioned earlier there are no go go bars in Hua Hin where you can find half or fully naked bar girls gyrating around poles.

So your primary choice of scoring some action are at the bars. I'm guessing there are at least 100 bars which include, sports bars, pubs, snooker bars, karaoke and the utility beer bar to find local girls for short time or long time action.

Little Norway Bar and Beer Garden

Here's Where to Go:

Currently there are 2 areas in Hua Hin's city center for finding bar girls. The first is Soi Bintabaht. This area is located near the beach and the popular Hua Hin night bazaar. Getting there is very easy and if you're going there by tuk tuk just tell the driver Bintabaht and they'll know you're looking to get drunk and laid.

Soi Bintabaht is the main drag where all the action takes place. You can find freelancers standing around including ladyboys. Just don't expect the same numbers of hookers as you would in Bangkok's Nana Plaza. Many bars have ladies sitting outside making catcalls and crying out to customers. And many of the bars are foreign owned and you'll usually see them working or chatting away with the customers.

My favorite bars are Chill Out, Chill Out 2, Little Norway, Valentine, Pink Panther and Heaven. Keep in mind that Hua Hin's bars are much more laid back. So do not expect the same atmosphere as Pattaya or Bangkok's bar scene.

Now typically bar fines are around 300THB for most of the bars in Hua Hin. And the ladies asking prices for short time in my experience is around 1000-1500THB. For long time for me it was as little as 2000THB to 5000THB. It could be more or it could be less for you. As always the going rates are dictated by the girls looks and age.

Drink prices are cheaper too, draft beers cost about 60THB and ladies drinks are about 100THB.

Take a walk around the area surrounding Bintabaht, especially along Soi Selakem and you'll find even more beer bars scattered throughout. And checking out the area next to the Hilton Hua Hin hotel is a good idea too. Plenty of bars near that hotel.

Speaking of the Hilton, there is a place called Hua Hin Brewery and it's run by the Hilton. Plenty of ladies hang out there as well even when the bars have closed. It's one of the nicest hotels in the area and priciest too.

But there are plenty of hotels that are more affordable and hooker friendly too. Check out my map of hotels in Hua Hin that are bar girl friendly and also where to find the bars.

A map of red light districts and guest friendly hotels in Hua Hin.

Second place you want to hit up is Phetkasem Road Soi 80. If traveling by tuk tuk just tell the driver Soi 80. You can walk from Bintabaht to Soi 80 in about 10 to 15 minutes. A tuk tuk ride will cost you a 100THB.

There are around 40 bars on Soi 80 which is one strip of road so the bars are a lot more condensed. Some of my favorite watering holes in that area are Chok Dee Bar, JJ Sports Bar, Lek's Bar, Airport Bar and Exotic Bar. Prices for the ladies time and drinks are about the same as it is in Bintabaht.

Hua Hin's Massage:

I mentioned already that there are no soapy massage parlors in Hua Hin. There are many traditional Thai/Oil massage shops though. But Hua Hin's massage shops are mostly no sex offered establishments. Most of the massage shops are upscale catering to non-sex tourists.

Because Hua Hin's visitors are mostly of a different breed. But you can find massage shops that do provide happy endings like hand jobs, blow jobs or full service. But these establishments are not as organized as you would find the Bangkok's Phrom Phong massage center.

But if it's the ol happy ending massage you want go check out Soi 80 and right in Soi Bintabaht look for Soi Selakem. I don't have any recommendations because frankly, I haven't found a place I like yet in terms of the talent.

To be fair I haven't been to every single erotic massage parlors in Hua Hin. But in most cases it's easy to spot a shop that offers happy endings. Usually the massage girls are sitting outside wearing heavy make up with tight clothing. And often in most cases the shops looks dingy. The upscale shops do not offer extras no matter how hot the massage girl looks.

And their basic Thai massage prices start from 200THB or 300THB for 1 hour. Prices for the extras are cheap and negotiable. I once got a hand job from a massage girl at a shop on Soi 80 for 200THB. Maybe it was a really slow day.

I mostly like the ladies working in Hua Hin's bars because they are much more laid back. Maybe it's the atmosphere. They are not pushy and very friendly from my experience. And many of them are pretty good looking and do not look as hardened as the ladies of Bangkok and Pattaya.

I also like Hua Hin because it's a great place to chill out and relax in. And ever so often it's great to get to some place more quiet and cleaner. If you're used to the hard partying scene in Bangkok and Pattaya then Hua Hin is super dull.

But to me, Hua Hin is worth a visit just to get away from the noise and pollution, have a nice cold beer and a pretty local girl on my lap chatting away.
