Pattaya's Rasputin Massage - On Second Road between Soi 5 and Soi 6

So I already made it quite clear. I'm not a huge fan of Pattaya's soapy massage parlor scene. That's one of the main reasons why I never made a top 5 list like I did for Bangkok.

That's not to say all body to body massage establishments in Pattaya suck. I'll still list and map them for everyone to find. Because what I don't personally like could be something you enjoy. And also massage girls come and go and get better.

But Rasputin Massage in Pattaya, boy oh boy - I know for a fact everyone will enjoy. Although I suck at math I don't need to be Einstein to know that the more ladies a soapy has the more chances there will be better looking girls or at least ladies that you particularly find attractive.

Rasputin is located on Second Road between Soi 5 and Soi 6. They open from 12pm until 1am. Although last call is usually around 11:30am to midnight. It's super easy to find and the best way to get down there is by taking a Baht bus.

If you're staying at a hotel between Walking Street down to Soi LK Metro through Soi 11 and 12, it only cost 10THB to get to Rasputin's massage location (maps coming soon). With no traffic you can get there in about 5 minutes. But the easiest marker for finding Rasputin is the McDonald fast food restaurant.

Continue walking down the driveway and you'll come across some restaurants and some sort of cabaret theatre about 300 meters and you hit Rasputin.

Every time I come over to Pattaya this is the place I always come to for a good old fashioned body to body soapy massage. I typically go there around 6pm because that's the time that the models show up. Around 8pm you can expect to see around 100 girls, about 10 or 15 of them are in the model category. That's a lot of ladies.

Call me an elitist snob but I prefer the model girls. They've got the looks I like a lot. Slim, long hair, long legs and fair skin. Models are quite tall too.

There are three price points for Rasputin model girls:

1. 3800
2. 4500
3. 6000

Rasputin's normal soapy girls' prices start at:

1. 2000
2. 2500
3. 3000

I don't stick to models exclusively because some of their normal girls are fairly attractive too. You get hour and half and only 1 shot with the ladies.

Rasputin has nice big rooms

Rasputin's viewing area is quite nice. There are no actual fishbowl sections separating customers from the girls. Its all basically open and all the ladies are seated on couches along the walls. Model section girls are seated near the front where customers come in. Papasans speak English and are quite helpful and as far as I know do not charge foreigners extra.

Rooms are huge, the biggest I've ever seen at a soapy with big beds. But for some reason looks like most of the rooms had some major water damage. Okay, yeah I know, you don't come here for the rooms. But Rasputin has porn playing on TV!

Even though Pattaya does have quite a few soapies that I pretty much avoid I'll probably still go just to take a look see. Because I know management changes. New ladies arrive and so on. I wish I could make a top 5 soapy list for Pattaya. However, if you don't want to waste time looking for pretty massage girls Rasputin is always the safe bet.

And if I had to make a top 5 soapy massage list for Pattaya, Rasputin would be #1.

A Last Night Out at Poseidon Massage

Too drunk to hold the camera steady...

It was my buddy's last night in Bangkok before he crawled back to whatever hole he came from. For a treat I took him out to Sherbet G Club. It's his first experience ever at a club where you'll find many girls in the 8s to 10s in the looks and body category.

At Sherbet for the first 2 hours of drinking and having a great time I saw him whisper into the ear of the young 20 something. You can see from a mile away how bad he wanted to get into her panties. She shook her head and that's where things went down hill. I had already knew what he had asked her. And from the disappointment on his face I knew he didn't like the answer.

So I moved in to console the big lug and the first thing that came out of his mouth was, "Jim, you didn't tell me this place is one giant cock tease!" I just cracked up laughing.

Let's go to Poseidon I said. I had already planned on heading to Poseidon for a soapy massage since it was still early on in the night at about 10pm. And his flight was leaving 5am the next morning. And it was probably good that we stopped drinking since I was worried that the airline would deny him boarding if they see him so wasted.

By the time we walked out to the road to hail a taxi we were staggering like fools.

Traffic was going to be heavy going up Ratchada road and there are lots of clubs and pubs in the area, so we knew traffic could be a problem.

We assured our taxi driver if he could get us to Poseidon in 10 minutes he'd get a tip. What a big mistake. Most taxi drivers in Bangkok have a death wish. And offering a juicy tip for speeding is as good as giving a driver a license to kill passengers.

Sure enough, the got us there in 9 minutes by weaving through sub sois. I was going to hand the driver a 100THB tip on top of the 75THB fare. But my buddy gave the guy 500THB for everything and the driver was ecstatic. And my buddy's a scrooge. I'm sure right when he sobers up he's going to flip out.

When we got to the doors of Poseidon we had already discussed on checking out the model girls first on the 3rd floor.

For the newbies, if you want to take a look at the ladies in the model category, I recommend taking the elevators on the first floor. The elevators are located on the right side of the staircases. I say this because if you head straight up the stairs to the 2nd floor you'll come across the Poseidon's fishbowl section. That's where you'll come across a bunch of papasans or mamasans. For some reason, Poseidon has a pretty large sales force. Once I've counted 10 lounging around.

Anyways they'll try to get you to take a fishbowl girl so they can earn a commission, thinking you don't know any better. Unless you ask of course where the models are. However, it's just best to take the elevators from the 1st floor.

When we got to the 3rd floor we noticed there were not a lot of girls left. Most are eating or drinking with customers already or upstairs in the rooms. But the 4 'model' type girls sitting down didn't do anything for us. So we took the elevators back down to the 2nd floor to the fishbowl. By the way, Poseidon's model girls start at 3000THB and can go up to 6000THB. I've heard some ex-Penthouse girls cost 7000THB for 60 minutes and you have to make a reservation.

My suggestion is save your money. They are not worth it. Go buy a Thai Penthouse magazine and some lotion (unless you prefer dry action) and have a box of tissue handy. The money you save is priceless. Unless you have so much money you don't know what to do with it then go ahead and knock yourself out.

When we got down to the fishbowl we didn't see a whole lot of girls either. There were only 6 at the moment but at any given time, Poseidon has around 25 girls. If the mamasan of papasan tells you there are 40 girls working at any given moment, don't believe them. Never of all my years I have ever seen more than 30 girls sitting in a fishbowl. The place by far with the most available girls is Nataree Massage.

Girls sitting on the left side of the fishbowl cost 2200THB and on the right cost 2600THB. Both rates are for 2 hours and you only get 1 shot. You have to tip the girl separately if you want 2 shots.

We waited a bit and not too long a few more girls came down and sat on the 2200THB side. Since it was getting late we decided what the heck and chose our ladies.

Typically I'm a bit choosier though I can't say the same for my friend. In the looks department I give the fishbowl girl a 5. But overall, it was pretty good service as usual and the rooms are clean too. Which is one of the many reasons why I enjoy going to Poseidon.

After about an 1 and a half (even if they say you get 2 hours you normally don't get the full time paid for) my buddy headed back to his hotel to get ready after a couple hours of sleep.

I wished him a safe trip and said lets go back to Sherbet next time and he flipped me the bird.

Note: To get to Poseidon Massage, it's best to take the MRT subway train to Sutthisan Station. Make sure to look for Exit #4. Once you get out of the station, take a right and walk down. If you look up you will see Poseidon's neon lights. It's about a 300 meter walk.

A Revisit to Caesar's Soapy Massage

Caesars Massage in Huay Kwang - Bangkok

For some reason, a lot of first timers to Bangkok visit these Big 3 soapies in Huay Kwang:

1. Poseidon
2. Emmanuelle
3. Caesars

A lot of it has to do with the fact that the Big 3 get mentioned fairly quite a lot on blogs and other similar nightlife related websites. Aside from Poseidon, the other 2 are not among my top 5 soapies.

However, for me I have fond memories of Caesars. It's the first soapy parlor I had ever set foot in. And it was the best first experience ever and jaded me to this day. Because today, the soapy experience, is simply watered down and service is passable at best. Good news is today there seems to be a lot more better looking girls today.

Just this past week a long time degenerate buddy of mine came over to Bangkok for his annual sexcapade.

He hates the go go bar scene and thinks it's a total rip off. And the loud music in the bars really annoys the hell out of him so he prefers the quiet gentle murmurings heard at a fishbowl.

He always books the same budget hotel near the soapies too called Hip Hotel in Huay Kwang. And it's a good choice too and only cost around 1500THB with taxes and breakfast included.

The Hip Hotel is at a strategic location for him to whore around too. Not only is the hotel a short walk to a cluster of soapies like Nataree, Emmanuelle and Caesars but he tells me there are hookers standing around the area by the entrance to the soi, right by Subway Entertainment massage.

So on his most recent stay he's been telling me to go with him to Caesars because for the past few days he's been hooking up with some hot looking talent. I figured why not, it wouldn't hurt to just take a look around. And I've been having a string of good luck recently by venturing off  my usual routine.

I agreed to meet up with him at the front entrance of Caesars, the first time I've been back in years. I saw a lot of luxury cars outside. Which is a good sign if the locals are there too. Sure enough things have changed inside, but not by much. The fishbowl is still where it is though the section where the sideliners and model girls look expanded.

We were greeted by a papasan who immediately recognized my friend who has been visiting frequently. The whole time he shadowed us as we scoped out the girls. It was about 7pm and there were a fair amount of girls for a Wednesday night. I counted at least 15 girls idling in the fishbowl and 12 sideliners chatting with a few trying to make eye contact.

To me, there were quite a handful of fishbowl and sideliners that caught my eye. So I asked the papasan for rates as was quoted 1900THB to 2200THB for certain fishbowl girls. Sideline girls ranged from 2400THB to 2800THB. Models started at 3200THB and can go as high as 3800THB. From what I saw, the models ain't worth that kind of money.

After 15 minutes of deciding and debating and teasing each others choice of girls, my friend decided on a buxom fish bowl girl and I picked a slim and tall 22 year old sideliner with a great pair of dimples (her tits were not bad either).

I paid 2800THB for60 minutes of her time. Was it worth it? Sure, it was fun. But I wouldn't consistently pay 2800THB while I can head across to Nataree and find a cute girl for 2300THB. Though Caesar's quality of girls are better then Nataree I have to admit.

Though my friend says he had a really good time the fishbowl girl he chose. So maybe someday I'll try out one of the ladies there.

Even then, if Caesar massage dropped their prices a little they just might see me there more often.

One Night in Bangkok? Here's What to Do

I know guys have a hard time figuring out where to go and what to do in Bangkok's red light districts if they only have one night. Especially today when there is simply so much information. And your mind is buzzing around with questions like, "Which massage parlor should I visit?", "Oil massage or soapy?" and "Soi Cowboy, Nana or Patpong go go bars?".

First off you have to be reasonable with the amount of time you have on hand. Say for example you've arrived at your hotel room in Bangkok at around 2pm and won't have to had back to the airport until after 6am. In that case you've got plenty of time in your schedule for go go bar action, a massage with happy ending or a fling with a Thai freelance prostitute.

However if all you've got is just 5 hours in Bangkok then your options have just decreased. Though you're not completely shit out of luck. But hold that thought, I'll get back to how you can get laid in Bangkok with so few hours.

Pick a Hotel near Soi Cowboy or Nana Red Light District

To cut down on travel time from go go bar to massage parlor or beer bar to clubs with Thai hookers I recommend staying at a hotel on Sukhumvit road from Soi 4 to Soi 23. Preferably one that is guest friendly of course.

Because walking from Nana Plaza's go go bars to Soi Cowboy's go go bars requires about a 15 minute walk from one to the other on Sukhumvit road.

Also the Sukhumvit MRT subway stations are near Soi Cowboy which you can connect to the Makkasan Airport train station. It's the quickest and cheapest ride to the airport. 30 minutes and you're at the airport.

But the aiport trains start service around 6am and end about 12am. So keep that in mind while you're planning your trip and wondering whether to take a taxi or airport train.

Taxis are still cheap and quick if the driver takes the highway route. The taxi fare cost about 350THB including highway tolls.

There's no point in staying at airport hotel when you have one full night to fulfill your porn star desires.

You can sort of squeeze in Patpong red light district as well but if you've only have a single night in Bangkok I suggest just to visit Nana Entertainment Plaza and Soi Cowboy. Because Nana and Cowboy both have everything you need and could find in Patpong but with more ranges of adult entertainment venues.

Getting Laid During the Daytime

Bangkok's adult entertainment venues open around 12pm and I'm referring to massage parlors that provide sexual reliefs, blow job bars and the odd bar on Sukhumvit where Thai hookers camp out.

So there's plenty of daytime action. But most naughty boy establishments do not get into full gear until 6pm.

Which means that BJ Bar or oil massage parlor you planned to visit at 1pm will most likely not have a lot of choices of ladies to pick from.

That said, you may find an attractive looking Thai prostitute waiting for customers on the street corners of Soi Nana where a lot of hookers take up space even during the daytime.

Just take a look around the Nana Hotel's parking area in the afternoon time on Nana Soi 4. Or just walk a little further down Soi 4.

The Best Action is Night Time Action

Beginning at 7pm you can find a lot more prostitutes on Sukhumvit road from Soi 3 through Soi 15. Or head into a bar like Gulliver's Tavern on Soi 7 of the beer garden on Soi 7/1. Plenty of Thai hookers stake their grounds their. Depending on Thai hookers look and age the price for short time is at least 1500THB and they won't go for less than that.

Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza go go bars are still sort of quiet around 7pm so the best times to show up to find the most girls on stage is at 9pm.

If you have the libido and endurance here's what I suggest. You can look for a hooker during the afternoon and head back to your hotel to do the deed. Or you can take a visit to any of the BJ Bars on Sukhumvit road. I recommend visiting Lolitas on Sukhumvit road Soi 8.

After a little rest back at your hotel room you can scope out the beer bars on Nana Soi 4. They are great places to sit, chat with girls and have eyes on the sidewalks as streetwalkers start showing up.

Check Out a Soapy Massage (If you have the time and energy)

There are two places you can go. First one is right next to Nana Entertainment Plaza called Annies Massage. The other is called Darlings Massage (no website) on Sukumvit Soi 12. Both are not a far walk from one to the other, just less than a 15 minute walk.

There are more soapy massage parlors though they are located on a strip called Ratchadipesek (Ratchada) road and they are easily reached by taking the MRT subway train.

If you have at least 5 hours in Bangkok and want to get laid then head to an area called Huay Kwang for soapy massage parlors. You usually get about 60 minutes or 90 minutes with soapy girls.

Which means you have plenty of time to get back to a go go bar either in Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy which close at 1am.

Huay Kwang is not far from the Sukhumvit by MRT train. There is an MRT station right next to Soi Cowboy. You want to take the train to Huay Kwang station which is only 4 stations away, about a 10 minute ride is all it takes.

To End the Night - Head for a Go Go Bar

Nana and Soi Cowboy's popular go go bars are busiest from 8pm to 12:30am. I have 5 favorite go go bars that I love to visit and they are mostly packed with customers during those hours.

And if you're a big fan of ladyboys be sure to check out Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP). You'll definitely find what you're looking for there.

I prefer visiting NEP's go go bars over Soi Cowboy. This is not to say that I don't like Cowboy. It has a great atmosphere with some of the best go go bars that I always visit.

I like NEP better out of convenience. NEP is on Sukhumvit Soi 4 which means you have the luxury of finding a Thai street hooker in case you don't find anyone you like at a go go bar.

And when the freelance bars in the area close around 1am the sois throughout NEP are flushed with even more prostitutes.

And if you still have plenty of energy and juice you can check out Club Climax in the basement of the Ambassador Hotel. It's a well known after hours club in Bangkok with a ton of freelancers. The Ambassador is good place to stay too because it's guest friendly and located on Sukhumvit Soi 11 so it's not far from either Soi Cowboy or Nana.

So those are your options if you've only have one night to party in Bangkok. Are there more things to do? Of course there are. For me I wouldn't want to waste too much time wandering around Bangkok for action. I would go to a place where everything that I could possibly want and need in one convenient location. And wouldn't want to waste time running around Bangkok on a one nighter. This is especially true if it's your first visit to Bangkok.

So as I mentioned earlier, be realistic with your time and what you can (physically) do. If there's something you missed you can always go back and have the best night of your life in Thailand again!
